Hi, I’m Greg.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the creator behind Shrink the Story

Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. I work with adults who feel stuck, anxious, burned out, or caught in patterns they want to change but don’t always know how to break. My goal is to make that first step feel clearer, more grounded, and less intimidating.
My approach to therapy is practical, collaborative, and rooted in real life. Sessions focus on understanding what’s driving stress or emotional patterns, building coping skills you can actually use, and helping you gain more control over how you respond to what life throws at you. Therapy isn’t about being judged or “fixed.” It’s about clarity, perspective, and learning how to shape the next chapter of your story.
Stories, Characters, and Shrink the Story
I’ve always been drawn to movies, storytelling, and the way we often see ourselves reflected in fictional characters. Whether it’s a film, a show, or a familiar story, characters can highlight real struggles around anxiety, avoidance, relationships, identity, and change. Sometimes it’s easier to recognize ourselves in a character than to name those patterns directly.
That interest is what led to Shrink the Story as a creative extension of my clinical work. The short videos use familiar fictional characters to explore real psychological themes in a way that feels approachable, memorable, and sometimes a little humorous. The goal isn’t entertainment for its own sake — it’s helping people absorb ideas and skills that genuinely benefit their lives.
The word shrink is a subtle nod to the old slang for therapist. It’s not the point of the work, but it reflects the spirit behind it: making therapy concepts feel less intimidating and more accessible.
A Practical, Modern Approach
I also enjoy using technology as a tool to extend therapy concepts beyond the session room. The videos aren’t meant to replace therapy, but to support insight, reinforce skills, and help people feel more equipped to understand and direct their own lives.
At the core of everything I do — therapy or content creation — is the same idea: helping people regain a sense of agency and authorship over their own narrative.
At the heart of my work is helping people gain more control over their own narrative understanding where they’ve been, recognizing what’s been shaping them, and deciding how they want the story to move forward.
